Demo at Chalmers
In March, Silvia Muceli and Bahareh Ahkami ran a demo to visualize EMG signals for students of the Franklins Gymnasium.
Approximately 60 students attended the event, which started with an introduction to explain how muscles work, how their architecture can impact function, how muscle electrical activity can be detected at the surface of the skin.
Students were shown that a “movie” can be generated while tracking muscle electrical activity over time and they learned fun facts about the muscle.
It was a fantastic opportunity to foster curiosity in younger audiences!
