HybridNeuro Project showcased at Podravje Regional Smart Specialisation Event
On 1st of April, 2025, the HybridNeuro project was presented at the event “Smart Specialisation - an Opportunity for Companies in the Podravje Region”, held in the multifunctional hall in Bohova, Municipality of Hoče. The event was organized by the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development and SPOT Podravje - Regional Development Agency Podravje - Maribor, Slovenia.
Bringing together industry stakeholders, policymakers and national contact point (NCP) representatives, the event focused on opportunities arising from Slovenia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy and strengths arising from the region. Aleš Holobar introduced HybridNeuro as a pioneering example of human-machine interaction research, exploring communication between natural and artificial intelligence. The technology developed through the R&D component of HybridNeuro holds extensive potential for further valorisation and integration into both industrial and clinical applications. With the support of Tanja Botić, the project and its long-term component HybridNeuro Hub, were highlighted as a case of cutting-edge research and international collaboration, driving both technological innovation and societal impact.
